Candles
Your candles will last longer and drip less if you put them in the freezer for a day or two before using them. A way to keep the stubborn wax drippings from clogging up the bottom of a narrow holder is to sprinkle a little regular (not the clumping style) kitty litter into the bottom of the container. Candlewax Ideas. If you have a squeaky drawer or floorboard then rubbing a little candlewax can make a big difference. You can also use candlewax - or candlegrease as we call it here in Scotland -to make sawing less tiring, it acts as a lubricant. Just rub an old candle over the teeth of the saw every few minutes and note the difference. Davit M
