Make your own Anti-Aphid Soap

Q: Aphid & Insecticide Soap. I hope that maybe someone out there may have the "formula" for insecticide soap. I've got an outbreak of aphids and need help. -- Sandi Sandi Larson Reply   (Ref_1241)

Answer #1:  You can make your own - liquidize tomate or rhubarb leaves (Caution Poisonous - Ed) with a little detergent and spray. Plain soapy water (not detergent) sprayed on is also useful. -- Anon Comment

Answer #2: If your problem is in a greenhouse use Apholetes Gall Midges. You can buy several hundred larvae and never have an aphid problem again. - Reggie Green Comment
